On 18 and 19 October 2018, training was held in Skopje on climate change for civil society organizations from eight planning regions of Macedonia. The training was delivered by CNVP Macedonia, the Ecologists’ Movement of Macedonia (DEM) and the Centre for Environmental Research and Information (Eko-svest).

The training gave a basic understanding about the causes and consequences of climate change, as well as promoted activities to tackle it. Participants had the opportunity to give their own opinions about the connection between climate change and other current problems in Macedonia.

The event was held within the framework of the 36 month EU-funded project Communities Communicating Climate Change that is being implemented by the three training organisations
