European Cluster Conference 2019, Bucharest, Romania

CNVP’s Executive Director attended the 6th European Cluster Conference held during 14-16 May 2019 in Bucharest, Romania.

Entitled Connecting Ecosystems: Bridge. Inspire. Change., the conference was interactive and participatory. It focused on digitalisation and the skills gap, the circular economy, shared values and social impact. The conference discussed priorities for cluster policies, as well as developments to support innovative and sustainable industrial modernisation and interregional cooperation, with the spotlight on building bridges among the different actors of the cluster community.

The event brought together 450 cluster policy-makers, cluster managers, practitioners and other stakeholders. It was organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs together with Romania under its current six month Presidency of the Council of the EU.
