Workshops dedicated to food presentation and matching with wines, Dihovo, North Macedonia

We asked the Rural Women: "What motivates you to constantly prepare the most delicious food? - Food is love - and cooking is sharing. Here's how to make people always happy," – they responded.
In the period 05-07 April 2022, in Dihovo, Bitola, a Culinary training "Upgrading the presentation of food and beverages in rural tourism facilities" was organized, in which the Rural Women from Prespa took an active part, and it was implemented by SWG RRD.
During the two-day training, they had the opportunity to learn more about the guide to current legislation and administrative procedures in rural tourism in North Macedonia, added value, storytelling, food and beverage merging, food safety standards, food presentation, and offer improvement.
Also, through practical work-cooking classes, participants had the opportunity to work with professional chefs and upgrade their knowledge of food preparation.
The training was conducted within the project "Promotion of Economic Diversification in Rural Areas in Southeast Europe (SEDRA II) - Capacity Building in Agriculture and Rural Tourism to Promote Employment Opportunities", supported by the German Federal Cooperation and Development and GIZ North Macedonia, and implemented by SWG RRD.
The Association "Rural Women of Prespa" was established with the help of CNVP and PONT.
