Representatives of CNVP Montenegro and CNVP Bosnia-Herzegovina attended the 6th regular session of the Assembly of the Network for Rural Development of Montenegro (NRDM) on Saturday, 31 March 2018 held in Tehnopolis, Niksic.

The event agreed and adopted guidelines for the strategic planning of NRDM for 2018-21. The guidelines were discussed by representatives of NRDM members. Discussion was coordinated by CNVP's representative in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Ivica Sivric, (who works for the Regional Development Agency of Herzegovina (REDAH) in Mostar, and is also a representative of the Network for Rural Development of Bosnia-Herzegovina).

The session elected Ratko Batakovic (the Director of Tehnopolis in Niksic) to be president of NRDM.

CNVP Montenegro was informed on 18 June 2018 that NRDM's March 2018 meeting admitted it as a new member of NRDM, and appointed it as Network coordinator for the central part of the country (linking Podgorica, Danilovgrad, Niksic and Pluzine).

Two other Network coordinators were appointed at the same meeting: the Regional Development Agency for Bjelasicu, Komove and Prokletije in Berane (for the north); and the Olive Association in Bar (for the south).
