The regional Green Coalition of twenty four CSOs from Korce Region met on 12 July 2018 to discuss issues related to sustainable natural resource management. As current chair of the board, CNVP Albania moderated the first general meeting.

The meeting approved a one year work plan based on:

1. monitoring transparency in the management of forest eco-systems;
2. promoting the use of alternatives for heating to reduce the use of firewood;
3. protecting and managing better biodiversity in the Ohrid-Prespa Trans-boundary Biosphere Reserve; and
4. monitoring implementation of work plan activities.

The executive director of Prespa Ohrid Nature Trust (PONT) attended the meeting, with a view to creating partnership and identifying future opportunities for collaboration with the Coalition.
