Following the first capacity building training held in Prizren earlier this month, CNVP Kosovo today is hosting the second training on “Capacity Building for Gender Equality and Gender Mainstreaming in the Area of Climate Change and Integrated Forest Management (IFM),” this time in Istog.
More than 15 women farmers, representatives of local women’s and youth groups, municipal institutions, and associations of private forest owners are discussing gender equality in forest management, Integrated Forest Management (IFM), as well as marketing and business planning that support rural livelihoods and local economic development.
The training is organised within the Integrated Forest Management (IFM) along the Transboundary Drin River Basin project, funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and ICEP – weltweit mehr unternehmen, with the support of Lenzing AG, and implemented by CNVP Kosovo.
Through this series of trainings, CNVP Kosovo continues to strengthen local capacities, promote gender equality, and support sustainable forest management and climate resilience.
