The presentation brought together representatives of civil society organisations, local and national institutions working in the fields of environmental protection, forestry, nature conservation and biodiversity, as well as practitioners in biodiversity and tourism. The meeting aimed to present the key findings and consult relevant stakeholders, encouraging the exchange of knowledge, experiences and recommendations for strengthening nature conservation and exploring opportunities for sustainable tourism development in Jablanica.
Experts Daniel Bogner and Bogoljub Šterijovski presented the main findings of the analysis and the local action plans, followed by an open discussion in which participants shared their perspectives and recommendations.
The exchange highlighted the importance of cooperation among institutions, civil society organisations and experts in safeguarding Jablanica’s rich natural heritage and promoting the sustainable management of its natural resources. The findings and recommendations provide a basis for further dialogue and coordinated action towards the long-term conservation of the area’s biodiversity and natural habitats.
