The International Land Coalition (ILC) is a network organization of more than 300 member organizations that stand united for people-centered land governance. CNVP Kosovo is contracted as the host organization of the National Land Coalition (NLC) of Kosovo with regard to important work areas such as women’s empowerment and forest owners’ rights, as well as climate change and adaptation (with specific focus on youth).
The objective of the ‘CNVP – Vital Pastures’ project is to conserve mountain pastures and their biodiversity in the Sharr, Korab-Koritnik, and Mavrovo regions by supporting traditional livestock practices, improving management knowledge, demonstrating restoration approaches, and promoting solutions to decision-makers, thereby contributing to both nature conservation and community well-being.
The primary objective of the project is to enhance the capabilities of the Kosovo National Park Bjeshket e Nemuna staff and key stakeholders towards a sustainable use of the natural resources for the park's sustainable future, which involves protecting and developing the natural and socioeconomic values of the area.
