The basin encompasses a complex ecosystem of major importance that hosts unique biotopes with many indigenous species that are important from European and international conservation perspectives.
This action, supported by GEF, UNDP, UNECE and GWP-Mediterranean, was attended by many stakeholders from countries in the Drin Basin - Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro.
CNVP contributes to the sustainable management of natural resources which directly and indirectly have an impact on economic growth and human prosperity, as well as on the environment and ecosystems.
