Farewell party
On Friday, 28 June 2019, Team CNVP attended a farewell party in the Albanian tourist port of Shengjin for Ross Bull, CNVP’s Executive Director for the last three years.
Colleagues and consultants from CNVP Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia, the head of Kosovo’s National Association of Private Forest Owners, and a representative of CNVP’s Supervisory Board attended a copious fish lunch, (followed by Albanian folk dancing).
During the meal, several speeches were delivered about the multiple changes that Ross had introduced to CNVP during his short tenure: (see http://cnvp-eu.org/eng/new.php?mv=12&id=1136). It was generally agreed that they would provide a strong platform for CNVP to achieve long-term financial sustainability and success in the Balkans.
CNVP’s country directors for Albania and Kosovo expressed their gratitude for the way in which Ross had guided CNVP’s development, particularly that the organisation has increased its visibility locally, regionally and within Europe, as well as moved towards development of a greener economic environment in the Balkans with which to mitigate/adapt to climate change. Aurel Jupe thanked Ross for his inputs on behalf of CNVP’s Supervisory Board.
Team CNVP wishes Ross the best of luck in his future professional work and private life.
