CNVP attended Rural development policy forum
CNVP attended the Rural development policy forum of SEE countries held during 10-12 September 2019 in Zlatibor, Serbia.
The event brought together different stakeholders from rural development areas, state and not state actors as well as national and international networks and organizations from many SEE countries.
A series of different panels were presented after the official speeches from the representatives of the institutions of Serbia, representatives of the ALTER project as well as the representatives of the SWG group and the RYCO organization.
The panels mainly focused on the topics of youth in rural areas such as:
- Policy in supporting youth in rural areas in Western Balkan countries, Turkey and EU;
- Economic activities of youth in rural areas-how to establish simulative environment;
- Role of CSO’s in supporting youth activism in rural areas;
- Improving living conditions for youth in rural areas.
The mentioned topics were also discussed through working groups - rural cafe methodology. Also it was organized one filed visit where participants had chance to see successful examples of rural development in Western Serbia.
