On 11 of March 2022, CNVP Kosovo organized a coordination workshop with Kosovo Forest Agency, NAPFO, Municipalities, and FAO. 
The meeting aimed to introduce the new project objectives in general by focusing on the main topics as Developing a market system for wood biomass (wood chips) to provide proper forest management and income generation; increasing incomes from sustainably managed private forests with attention to climate change adaption and biodiversity; Market system Development approach which will involve partnering with a range of actors. 
Participants have had the opportunity to discuss in more detail the project implementation strategy, possible joint activities, and cooperation. The parties agreed that further cooperation will enable the achievement of project objectives that are in the interest of the development of the forestry sector.
Furthermore, the discussion on the new Forest Strategy and Forest Law has been raised. On the other hand, KFA regional directorates have presented their annual plans for 2022, with the focus on private forestry, joint forest management implementation, procedures of application for cutting permits in private forests, etc.  
The activity was organized through the Sida-funded project “Sustainable Use of Natural Resources for Environment and Economic Development” (SUNREED) that is being implemented by CNVP Kosovo.
