A group of women in Fushe Kosova, including members of Private Forest Owners, came together to establish the Women and Youth Producers Group (WYPG), facilitated by CNVP.

Women elected as board members expressed their commitment to strengthen their role in the association by contributing to social cohesion in the multi-ethnic environment and addressing their needs for better quality of life in rural areas.

As part of the SUNREED project funded by the Embassy of Sweden in Prishtina, CNVP is supporting establishment of additional Women and Youth Producers Group in municipalities and consolidation of existing ones. Furthermore, CNVP will support these groups with trainings and incentive packages that will help to reduce poverty through the creation of employment opportunities.

Women present at the event in Fushe Kosova discussed about new innovative ideas for further strengthening of this group through promotion of handicrafts products and development of rural tourism.
