Innovative, cost effective and environmentally friendly drying system for MAPs in Devoll, Albania

CNVP Albania in partnership with Shaholli company have supported the establishment of a new flat-bed drying facility for MAPs in Devoll, Albania. This investment is supported by the Sida funded LED project which is being implemented in 6 regions in Albania.
Post-harvest loss and improper drying practices account for about 40 % of quality loss for MAPs. LED project is working with market actors to introduce innovative drying models and address the sectors constraints.
