CNVP Kosovo organized a workshop today with the theme "Support Schemes from Public Funds for Forestry Products." The workshop aimed to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the available support schemes originating from public resources, with a special emphasis on their applicability to forestry products.

The capacity-building consultant for support schemes emphasized that forests are not only habitats for timber resources, but a treasure trove of various products. The workshop included a presentation of supportive schemes from the central level for forestry products.

The consultant continued with an in-depth presentation of the application criteria for these supportive schemes funded by public resources, as well as the criteria for selection.

CNVP Kosovo stressed the importance of a structured advocacy approach, NAPFO, local associations and women and youth production group must advocate for the creation of grants at the local level to foster sector development.

In conclusion, the capacity-building consultant for support schemes from public funds for forestry products presented an exemplary prepared application dossier, providing a practical guide for attendees.
