Through a combined initiative to fortify sustainable forest management, LVNN-KosovoCNVP Kosovo, on the 26^th of October, hosted the workshop with the theme “Integration and Implementation of Joint Activities” within the framework of the project “Integrated Forest Management (IMF) along the Transboundary Drin River Basin”, a project funded by ADA (Austrian Development Agency) and ICEP, with the support of Lenzing AG.

The workshop, attended by a CNVP staff and Kosovo Forest Agency staff, aimed to foster collaboration and streamline efforts for the Integrated Forest Management project. One of the important topics of the workshop was the discussion on the Implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding with CNVP, presented by the head of Kosovo Forestry Agency.

A full overview of the Implementation Plan for activities within the IFM project was presented by CNVP Kosovo, the presentation specifically explored into the multifaceted approach towards afforestation and silvicultural treatments in the Drin River Basin region’s degraded forests.

This workshop once again served as a space for concretizing the Implementation Plan and reinforced the joint commitment of LVNN-KosovoCNVP-Kosovo and Kosovo Forestry Agency towards sustainable forest management in the Drin river basin.
