Last week, a partnership agreement was signed between CNVP Kosova and Organika association. The aim of the partnership agreement is the development of a local network of advisors for famers and WYPGs involved in the cultivation of Medical and Aromatic Plants (MAPs) and wild harvesting of Non-Wood Forest Products (NWFPs).

The partnership outlines a comprehensive training program to select and equip at least 10 qualified advisors for each region where project beneficiaries are functioning. The training will cover essential aspects such as organic cultivation of MAPs, sustainable collection of NWFP, post-harvest handling, quality and safety standards, processing technologies for homemade fruits and vegetables, and organic certification processes.

Following the training, these advisors will provide services based on the demand to project beneficiaries and other market player including connection with the exporters in the sector of harvesting and processing of NWFPs and MAPs .This collaboration is a significant step towards fostering sustainable advisory services for the sector of NWFP and MAPs.
