Rural women of Prespa were part of the mountain tea branding workshop
On March 15 and 16, a two-day workshop on theory, strategy, and practice for branding Prespa mountain tea was held in Resen (North Macedonia). The training is intended for the association Rural Women of Prespa in order to acquire certain knowledge in the field of marketing and promotion and in order to be competitive in the tea market.
The workshop covered several topics: analysis and definition of needs for branding and marketing of a product – Prespa mountain tea, creation of a branding strategy for mountain tea as well as creation of a draft branding document. The workshop was conducted interactively, through various practical exercises for creating a branding strategy. In order for the training to be appropriate to the knowledge of the participants, an analysis was previously conducted to assess the knowledge of the participants related to the topics that were part of the training.
The project "Empowering women for NTFP's development of Prespa" is implemented by the organization CNVP, with financial support from PONT, through which Rural Women from Prespa are supported. The project aims to increase the internal capacities of the RWoP organization, for the use of bioproducts and non-wood forest products in the region of Prespa for catering activities.
