Supporting Young Advisors to Enhance MAP and NWFP Practices in Kosovo

We are happy to announce the successful certification of our training program on "Organic Agriculture, Cultivation of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs), and Sustainable Collection of Non Wood Forest Products (NWFP)".

Twelve dedicated young agronomists have completed the rigorous training with the aim to become advisors to Kosovo’s farmers. During the training they have been equipping themselves with valuable skills in organic cultivation and sustainable practices.

Their mission? To help farmers elevate their planting and harvesting practices in the Non-Wood Forest Products (NWFP) and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAP) sectors.

Leading this initiative is CNVP Kosovo’s Sustainable Use of Natural Resources for Environment and Economic Development (SUNREED) project, funded by the Embassy of Sweden in Pristina / SIDA. For this specific endeavor, the project has partnered with the Shoqata ORGANIKA, which has vast experience in the development of the NWFP and MAP sectors.

Congratulations to all the participants who have shown commitment and passion throughout the training program.
