CNVP Albania is spearheading this initiative, implementing a grant scheme aimed at local stakeholders—NGOs, businesses, farmers, and community members—to enhance awareness, build capacities, and promote nature conservation alongside income generation.

  1. Promotion of Ecotourism: Efforts to boost ecotourism in Theth include creating informative materials, media promotions, and organizing expeditions with future tourist guides.
  2. Sustainable Resource Management: Engaging the community in the sustainable management of forests and medicinal/aromatic plants to protect natural values and enhance living conditions.
  3. Sustainable Harvesting Education: Educating medicinal plant collectors on sustainable harvesting techniques to ensure long-term resource availability.
  4. Fire Prevention Awareness: Informing residents about measures to prevent fires in forests and pastures within the Albanian Alps Park.
  5. Renewable Energy Advocacy: Highlighting the role of renewable energy in preserving biodiversity and fostering sustainable business development in the area.
