We are happy to share that, as part of the Integrated Forest Management (IFM) project funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and implemented by ICEP and the CNVP Foundation, women’s associations focused on non-wood forest products (NWFP) and medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) came together last week to showcase their products at the “Chestnut Day” event held in the Junik municipality.

It was a great opportunity for local women producers to not only highlight their products but also engage in meaningful knowledge exchange and collaboration. Events like these are important for building stronger ties between the women communities, promoting economic growth, and ensuring gender equality in development.

The active involvement of women and by connecting local producers with stakeholders, we’re building long-term partnerships and networks that support community development and environmental responsibility.
