CNVP Kosovo Partners with Municipality of Lipjan to Explore Biomass Heating Solutions
On October 23rd, CNVP Kosovo signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Municipality of Lipjan to investigate the feasibility of a biomass heating system and other renewable energy options for the city of Lipjan.
Mayor Imri Ahmeti expressed his support for this initiative, highlighting its potential to introduce innovative heating alternatives for the municipality. The agreement foresees a thorough feasibility study of Lipjan's existing heating system, with the goal of improving sustainability and efficiency.
Mr. Xhevat Lushi, Director of CNVP Kosovo, said the collaboration is a commitment to exploring environmentally friendly energy solutions that can benefit the local community.
This initiative is part of the Sustainable Use of Natural Resources for Environment and Economic Development (SUNREED) project, supported by the Embassy of Sweden in Pristina (Sida), and implemented by CNVP Kosovo.
