On 5th of March the CNVP North Macedonia team held coordination meetings with Mavrovo and Shar Mountain National Park.

The CNVP project team introduced the annual activity plan for the third year of the "Sustainable Use of Natural Resources in Shara, Korab-Koritnik, and the Albanian Alps" project, which is financially supported by PONT. The discussion focused on cooperation and initiatives contributing to the national park priorities that will be carried out throughout the year.

During the discussion, it was concluded that the local population is an important segment for the preservation of biodiversity and their role is crucial in the protection of nature. The CNVP, with its work, is very active in supporting initiatives that come from the local population and are part of the priorities of the national parks.

All parties expressed willingness to continue their strong commitment to sustainable use of natural resources.
