Cultivation of new species and NTFPs for diversification of agricultural production and economic activities has started in Prespa region (North Macedonia).

CNVP North Macedonia together with the Rural Women of Prespa in the previous period identified new plots sites for cultivation of new species and NTFPs for diversification of agricultural production and economic activities, in relation to this women member from RWoP are receiving blueberries and starting with the cultivation.

These delicious blueberries will not only enrich their menu with new, sweet desserts and refreshing juices, but will also bring a fresh note to the cultivation of fruit in the Prespa region.

With this initiative, the women are not only raising the quality of the local production offer, but also actively contributing to the diversity and sustainability of agriculture in their region.

We look forward to seeing what culinary wonders they will create from their fruits!

Project ‘’Capacity Building Programme for Sustainable Tourism with focus on Non-Timber Forest Products” is funded by EU and implemented by UNDP through CNVP.
