CNVP Albania Marks Another Milestone in IFM Project Progress

CNVP Albania has taken another big step in supporting rural communities through the ADA-funded IFM project. Yesterday, we signed sub-grant agreements with nine households, helping families in some of the most remote and struggling areas. By providing them with new opportunities, we are giving them a reason to stay, grow, and build a better future.
In these isolated villages, where jobs are hard to find, families are now starting small businesses. Some are planting fruit trees, growing vegetables and medicinal plants, while others are taking up beekeeping or improving tourism facilities. These activities not only help them earn a living but also make good use of the natural resources around them in a sustainable way.
This support from the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) is more than just financial help, it’s about giving people the skills and confidence they need to succeed long-term. By learning new things and getting the right tools, families can create stable sources of income and plan for a better future.
One of the biggest challenges in these areas is depopulation, as many people leave in search of better opportunities. By creating ways for them to make a living at home, CNVP Albania is helping to keep these communities alive and thriving.
With the continued support of CNVP Albania and its partners, these families are turning challenges into opportunities. The IFM project isn’t just about funding, it’s about hope, stability, and making a real difference where it’s needed most.
