CNVP and Shar Mountain National Park Conduct Joint Monitoring Activities
Shar Mountain National Park and CNVP North Macedonia, continue their successful collaboration in promoting sustainable, nature-based tourism within the protected area of Shar Mountain.
Responding to the request of the Shar Mountain National Park Management, CNVP has constructed two wooden shelter stations in the villages of Kamenjane and Brodec. These shelters will serve as resting points and observation areas for nature enthusiasts and hikers, offering scenic views of the surrounding landscapes and mountain peaks.
A joint inspection visit was carried out by representatives of CNVP and the Shar Mountain National Park Management Authority, Mr. Evzal Elmazi, to ensure that both shelters meet the highest standards of construction quality, functionality, and environmental harmony. The shelters are made from wooden ecological materials, in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, and are placed at key and frequently visited locations within the National Park.
This initiative reflects CNVP’s commitment to enhancing nature-based tourism infrastructure while supporting the protection and sustainable use of natural resources in the Shar Mountain protected area.
This activity is part of project “Sustainable Use of Natural Resources” financially supported by CNVP and PONT.
