Last week, the Embassy of Sweden in Pristina brought its work to the city of Ferizaj for a day through its Pop-up Embassy event, creating a dynamic space for dialogue, cooperation, and exchange.

The day was all about building bridges, sharing ideas, and celebrating sustainable business, with a strong focus on green growth, local value chains, and partnership opportunities between Kosovo and Sweden.

CNVP Kosovo was proudly part of the event together with its partners, showcasing a range of innovative and sustainable enterprises from Kosovo’s natural resources and forestry sector:

  • H. Leskovica – introducing ready-to-burn firewood and sustainable forestry services, highlighting responsible forest management and efficient biomass use
  • Beepro – producing locally made beehives and frames that support modern beekeeping and strengthen rural livelihoods
  • Promoplast – crafting high-quality furniture from locally sourced wood, combining craftsmanship with sustainable material use
  • Fungo FF – producing and exporting organic mushrooms from Kosovo to international markets, demonstrating strong agro-forestry potential
  • Organika Association – supporting the sustainable development of non-wood forest products (NWFPs) and medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) in Kosovo, contributing to rural income generation and biodiversity-friendly practices

The event provided an important platform for connecting with local producers, exchanging knowledge on sustainable resource use, and highlighting the growing potential of Kosovo’s green economy.
