Happening now at Sharr National Park
Around 20 farmers from the mountainous areas of Dragash and the municipality of Prizren have come together today for a hands-on training on sustainable pasture management, organized by CNVP Kosova.
These are farmers who work every day with grazing lands and livestock are exchanging real experiences, practical solutions, and fresh ideas to improve how they manage their pastures and flocks.
From better grazing practices and seasonal feeding, to improving animal care and protecting biodiversity, the discussions are practical, engaging and focused on real challenges farmers face every day in the field.
Beyond presentations, the highlight is the open exchange. Farmers learning from each other, sharing what works, and exploring new opportunities, including access to EU IPA funding for agriculture.
This initiative was supported by the project "Vital Pastures in Transboundary Sharr/Korab/Mavrovo" supported by Aage V. Jensen Charity Foundation and Nando & Elsa Peretti Foundation.
Stronger and more resilient mountain farming communities build healthier ecosystems in the Sharr region.
