Last week, CNVP Kosovo brought together experts, stakeholders, and partners for a roundtable on: “Rural Development Plan and the Pasture Sector in the Mountain Areas of Sharri National Park.”
Around 20 participants joined the discussion, focused on one key question:

How do we ensure the pasture sector is fully included in Kosovo’s agricultural and rural development policies?

In an open setting participants talked about what the challenges are and also practical steps to better integrate pasture management into national policy frameworks - especially in the landscapes of Sharri National Park.
Key topics included:
• Better reflection of pastures in rural development programs
• Gaps in current policies and implementation
• Stronger coordination and joint advocacy
• Practical recommendations for moving forward
The day combined expert presentations, interactive discussions, group work, and joint conclusions to guide future action.
This activity is supported through the project: "Green European Belt: Vital Pastures in Transboundary Sharri/Korab-Koritnik/Mavrovo," supported by Aage V. Jensen Charity Foundation and Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation.
