Increased networking and funding opportunities in Kukes region
On 17 May 17 2018, CNVP attended a regional workshop in Kukes on Consolidating the role of Albanian Network for Rural Development. Organized by Agropuka in the framework of an EU-funded project,, and led by the Albanian Network for Rural Development, the project aims at establishing local forums to encourage rural development initiatives by associations, local groups and individuals. In order to benefit from EU grants, local associations are required to combine in the form of Local Action Groups based on EU requirements.
The event introduced the Rural Parliament Initiative to local organizations, highlighting the importance of local association participation to strengthen networking and identify funding opportunities for sustainable natural resource management and community empowerment.
The event was supported by the Sida-funded project Forests for Local Economic Development that is being implemented by CNVP Albania.
