CNVP Serbia has become a member of two working groups of the National Convention on the EU:

1. Agriculture and Rural Development; Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Policy; and Fisheries (Chapters 11, 12, 13 of the acquis, respectively); and
2. Environment and Climate Change (Chapter 27 of the acquis).

CNVP Serbia is now able to participate in the two working groups’ activities and meetings. Together with other members, CNVP Serbia will contribute to the ongoing accession process between Serbia and the EU.

The National Convention is a platform for participation in, and monitoring of, the negotiations. It is a permanent body for structured debate on Serbia’s accession between government bodies, political parties, CSOs/NGOs, experts, syndicates, the private sector and representatives of professional organizations.
