CNVP Kosovo visited Leposavic municipality on Friday, 22 June 2018 to discuss with its Director of Agriculture possibilities for cooperation in forestry and area based rural development, as well as to start building contacts with local stakeholders and networks that are linked to CNVP’s areas of interest.

 Discussion revolved around initiating cooperation between forestry experts and members of Associations of Private Forestry Owners that are already established in Kosovo, in order to achieve sustainable forest management in Leposavic.

 It was proposed to hold a study visit to Novo Berde municipality to see joint forest management in practice, as well as identify how to implement similar activities in the northern municipalities of Kosovo, including cross-border and regional activities.
