Training of trainers for rural youth on EU integration issues
CNVP Macedonia as lead partner in the EU-funded project rural youth assisting Macedonia in EU integration provided a training-of-trainers programme during 25-27 June 2018 in Strumica.
The goals of the training were to:
- introduce participants to EU policies concerning integration advocacy and youth;
- outline institutional tools and mechanisms available to countries in the pre-accession period;
- equip participants with tools and knowledge for delivering key information to a wider audience, as well as advocating/lobbying in the project's focal areas; and
- improve the participants' leadership and presentational skills.
Fifteen young people from local CSOs successfully completed the training to (a) build their capacity to influence decision-making processes, and (b) increase their knowledge about EU integration issues.
