On 27 June 2018, CNVP Albania and World Vision provided training for producer groups in Diber region on how to increase and improve product quality and quantity, in order to create a brand name for hazelnuts from Diber region. Training focused on the cultivation of hazelnuts, as well as harvesting and post-harvesting techniques.

World Vision has provided farmers good quality seedlings. Training, coaching and capacity building on the cultivation of nuts and medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) will continue as an input to further economic development in the region.

The training was conducted in the framework of the Forests for Local Economic Development, a project financed by the Swedish Embassy and implemented by CNVP Albania.
