Network for Building Peace promotes the interests of CSOs/NGOs in Bosnia-Herzegovina. It recently included a short article about CNVP on its website (https://www.mreza-mira.net/vijesti/razno/izgradnja-zelenijeg-ekonomskog-okruzenja/). It said the following:

  1. CNVP is a Dutch-registered CSO that operates in the six EU candidate countries of the western Balkans, with a mission to use evidence-based analysis to improve the sustainable livelihoods of rural communities affected by ongoing environmental and climate change.
  2. CNVP's interests cover: natural resource management, national parks/protected areas, nature conservation, biodiversity, wetlands and Natura 2000; environmental protection, climate change and carbon sequestration; sustainable forest management, including agro-forestry; women’s economic empowerment; support for rural youth, including slowing down outward migration; agri-rural development, including crop and non-crop value chains; wood biomass for renewable energy; waste management, including transboundary water pollution; national rural parliaments, community mobilization, governance and civil society; area-based/local economic development and cluster policy; eco/agro-tourism; LEADER and local action groups; Erasmus+; and VET.
  3. CNVP has an international reputation as a reliable partner and facilitator with significant experience of establishing public, private and third sector partnerships, as well as supporting social entrepreneurship. It cooperates with other CSOs to improve dialogue with public and private sector decision-makers and stakeholders, as well as donors. CNVP works with state institutions at central and decentralized levels to design, develop and implement policies within an overall framework of public administration reform and results’ based monitoring.
  4. CNVP is currently implementing projects funded by Sida, USAID, the EU and PEFC.

The article invited organisations active in Bosnia-Herzegovina that wished to cooperate with CNVP to email Naida Katica in Sarajevo (naida.katica@cnvp-eu.org).
