On 10 October 2018, CNVP Kosovo supported Decani Municipality and local farmers to organize a fair to which members of the local Association of Private Forest Owners brought honey, chestnuts and herbs.

Many visitors came from the west of Kosovo (Peja, Decani, Gjakova and Junik), including Albanian businesses operating in Tropoja and Hasi (which have been recognised by the Mayor for their ongoing cooperation with Decan municipality). This event offered an opportunity to exchange information and develop business linkages between farmers, producers, traders, associations and local institutions, in order to increase cooperation in chestnut, honey and herb value chains.

Attended and broadcast by the local media, the event was organized through the Sida-funded project Strengthening Sustainable Private and Decentralized Forestry that is being implemented by CNVP Kosovo.
