CNVP has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Forestry Research Institute in Sarvar-Hungary

Last week, CNVP delegation held a meeting with representatives/officials of the Forestry Research Institute (ERTI) in Sarvar-Hungary. The purpose of the visit was in the field of forestry, non-wood forestry products/medicinal aromatic plants, and fast-growing trees, including meeting with the Union of Hungarian Women which focuses primarily on women living in the rural areas by providing support to them. 

During this visit, CNVP has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Forestry Research Institute (ERTI), which establishes a basis for strengthening cooperation in the field of research in forestry, fast-growing trees, climate change, biomass production for renewable energy, and biodiversity. 

CNVP delegation has realized meetings with the ERTI for Medicinal Plants and Herbs and discussed possible future cooperation in advancing the implementation of new technologies and organization of advisory services and trainings in the production of aromatic plants and herbs. 

Also, another important meeting was organized with the Union of Hungarian Women discussing the cooperation in the field of women entrepreneurship in rural areas.
