Exploring opportunities for activities of green economy and climate change in North Macedonia

On 13th November 2020, CNVP Country Director of North Macedonia Mr. Nehat Ramadani and Voislav Todorov, Business developer at CNVP, held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mr. Fatmir Bytyqi.

The subject of the meeting was to discuss topics related to the green economy, global climate funds, climate change, and involvement of CNVP in the future development of the forestry sector.

At the meeting readiness for cooperation from both sides was highlighted for further exploration of possibilities to be actively involved in the topics related to the green and climate activities. 

CNVP emphasizes its development work, working more than 10 years in the field of environment, forestry, climate change and rural development in the region. Pointing that forests are our focus as one of the most important ecosystems for climate change mitigation and local economic development.

CNVP once again has demonstrated readiness to take an active involvement in future activities in the country related to the climate change issues.

At the meeting, further activities with the cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Fatmir Bytyqi were agreed upon, and CNVP will follow the ongoing processes and will take an active involvement in future projects on the national and regional levels.
