CNVP increase capacities of the National Association of Private Forestry Owners (NAPFO)

During the 25th and 26th of March 2021, the general workshop with NAPFO board members was organized.
The aim of the workshop was a reflection on the actual situation of associations and possible actions for further financial sustainability of the NAPFO and APFOs as well as the reflection of all members for the NAPFO strategy towards 2021.
Regarding membership were introduced tools for collection of membership fees, using different mechanisms related to service provision to APFOs members such as joint forest management process and the development of forest value chain development. 
Like exercise, the modalities of collection fees initiatives as a model were presented by some APFOs to the group.
During this workshop were discussed topics of inclusion of private forestry into subsidy schemes (financial support) of the public intuitions, the rights of private forest owners within the National Parks, afforestation process, tax payment for the private forest, and other related matters.
During the workshop, it was made reflection for the strategy document of NAPFO towards 2021 by all participants, and after that, it was approved by all members.  
This activity is supported by the Sida-funded project being implemented by CNVP Kosovo - Strengthening Sustainable Private and Decentralized Forestry (SSPDF).
