New Country Director for CNVP Albania!

We are happy to announce that as of April 2024, Anila Aliaj has been selected as the new Country Director for CNVP Albania. The CNVP Foundation Executive Board, comprising Nehat Ramadani and Xhevat Lushi, has led the recruitment process for selecting the new Country Director for CNVP Albania.

Anila has been working for SNV since 2008 and then for CNVP (a legal demerger of SNV in the Balkans) since 2012 and she has over 20 years of working experience with international organizations. She has worked as intervention manager for several projects implemented in Albania and has demonstrated high performing professional skills and personal values. Some of her areas of expertise involve: civil society - organizational strengthening, business development, market system development, rural development, green economy, sustainable management of natural resources, gender mainstreaming and women economic empowerment, a certified trainer and facilitator etc.

She has relevant experience and deep knowledge of the organization, the staff, donors and stakeholders from central level to the most remote areas of the country.  Anila has an extensive and rich network varying from local to national and international level comprising civil society organizations, government officials at central and municipality levels, private sector, universities, the media and other key stakeholders at country and regional levels.

Holder of the title of "Ambassador for Peace" awarded by Universal Peace Federation in recognition of her remarkable contribution in the community.
