A coordination meeting between the organizations: Rural Women from Prespa, CNVP and PONT was held on December 9 in Resen. The meeting was aimed at sharing experiences and information about realized and future project activities, as well as guidelines for more successful and better cooperation between stakeholders.

As part of the project activities, on December 10 in Resen, the planned workshop on effective financial management and accounting for non-profit organizations was realized. The topics that were discussed at this workshop through interactive participation of the participants and practical examples are the following:

• Sources for sustainable financing of non-profit organizations
• Legal framework for non-profit organizations
• Taxation of non-profit organizations with a tax on total income according to the Law on Profit Tax
• Method of calculating the tax for non-profit organizations
• Income from business activity
• Payment of total income tax for non-profit organizations
• Financial statements – forms
• Procedure for submission of annual tax bill

The project "Empowering women for NTFP's development of Prespa" is implemented by the organization CNVP, with financial support from PONT, through which Rural Women of Prespa are supported. The project aims to increase the internal capacities of the RWoP organization, for the use of bio products and non-wood forest products in the region of Prespa for catering activities.
