CNVP Albania is implementing an afforestation initiative in Gramsh Municipality to restore forest areas damaged by recent fires and strengthen environmental resilience.

The project, supported by Raiffeisen Invest, focuses on rehabilitating approximately 5 hectares of degraded land in the Skënderbegas administrative unit. Through the planting of 10.000 black pine seedlings, the intervention aims to restore ecosystem functions, reduce soil erosion and improve biodiversity.

Beyond environmental impact, the project also contributes to local economic development by engaging community members in planting activities and introducing modern afforestation techniques. It builds on CNVP Albania’s extensive experience in forest restoration and sustainable land management across the country.

This initiative reflects a practical approach to climate action, combining ecosystem restoration with community involvement to create long-term environmental and socio-economic benefits.
